Goal

To design the Deloitte International Tax Source (DITS) platform from ground zero, ensuring seamless user experience across various browsers and devices, thereby improving accessibility, usability, and engagement for a global audience.

My Role

Lead offshore lead UX designer overseeing the end-to-end design process, including research, prototyping, testing, and implementation strategies focused on cross-platform compatibility.

Strategy & Planning

Ensure consistent functionality and appearance across all major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (desktops, tablets, smartphones). Implemented a responsive design framework to enhance mobile accessibility. Streamlined navigation to improve user journey and reduce task completion time.

Development & Implementation

Adopted a mobile-first design approach, laying foundational responsiveness from the ground up, ensuring every interaction, form, and content element was easily accessible on mobile platforms. Utilized CSS media queries and flexible grid layouts to adapt content dynamically.

Utilized responsive frameworks and design practices (CSS Flexbox, Grid, Bootstrap) ensuring optimal performance, readability, touch-friendly interfaces, and accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) on mobile devices.

Incorporated cross-browser and cross-platform testing as core stages within the project lifecycle, allocating dedicated QA resources and tools. Defined testing scenarios and acceptance criteria for each browser/device combination, enabling rapid identification and resolution of compatibility issues and ensuring consistently high-quality user experiences.

Employed progressive enhancement techniques to support older browsers while leveraging modern features in newer ones.

Key Achievements
